Gamal Gouda (GG)
Ballet Master at Semperoper Ballett in Dresden since 2009, following same position held at Bavarian State Ballet in Munich. Joined John Neumeier’s Hamburg Ballet in 1979 where he remained as Principal dancer up till 1999, dancing and creating all major roles in the repertory of that company.
Elisabeth Platel (EP)
Director of the Paris Opera Ballet School since 2004, following a glorious career as Danseuse Etoile with the Paris Opera where she danced all leading principal roles in the classical repertoire. Besides creating many neo-classical roles – she has proven to be very serious in teaching and maintaining the special French repertoire.
Paul Haze (PH)
Currently teaching at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and there he will be presenting his works of the company. After dancing both with The Martha Graham and Alvin Ailey companies, he became assistant choreographer to A. Ailey and created works for Royal Danish Ballet and La Scala in Milano.
Eva Draw (ED)
A highly esteemed guest teacher at International ballet schools. After a long career as Principal Dancer with Moscow City Ballet, Stanislavsky Ballet and the Israel Ballet, she immigrated to Canada in 1993 and was on the faculty at Canada’s National Ballet School with a leave of absence while working now with the Royal Danish Ballet. Graduated from Bolshoi Ballet School.
Thomas Lund (TL)
Principal dancer with the Royal Danish Ballet with a wide repertory in the classical and contemporary ballets. As a teacher his focus is the Bournonville school and repertory as well as co-directing specific performances. Has received many prestigious awards in recognition of his talent. Published: “Joy of Dance and Jumping Strength “ in 2007.
Alexei Kremnev (AK)
Currently Artistic Director of The Joffrey Ballet´s Academy of Dance. Graduated from Bolshoi Ballet Academy also with a degree in Pedagogy and Choreography. After touring internationally with Bolshoi Ballet and Moscow Festival Ballet as principal, he remained in Europe and later in the USA dancing all leading classical roles with all major companies.
Alexandre Bourdat (AB)
After studying in South of France, Alexandre Bourdat has worked as a dancer with several ballet and modern companies in Europe. He is now freelancing as a modern dance teacher as well as a live performing artist. Alexandre has choreographed several pieces for dance companies, schools and free-lanced projects.
Caroline Cavallo (CC)
Former Ballerina at The Royal Danish Ballet with a wide range in repertoire, from all major roles in the classical repertoire, Bournonville ballets and neo-classical, modern dramatic roles as well. She is also teacher for the apprentices of the RDB School. She entered RDB in 1989 after her education at School of American Ballet. Born in Atlanta, GA. USA.
Jean-Lucien Massot (JLM)
Principal Dancer with The Royal Danish Ballet since 1994 with a strong repertory covering all the main classical leads as well as dancing in the Modern repertory. In 1989 apprentice at Deutsche Oper, Berlin – working up through the ranks finishing with a position as Principal Dancer. Graduated from Conservatoire in Avignon, France, winning the Gold Medal. Born in Orange, France.
Knud Arne Jürgensen (KAJ)
Dr.phil., Sen.Researcher and former head of Drama Collection at The Royal Library in Copenhagen. A specialist in Bournonville´s notation system, he has reconstructed and mounted numerous works from the last century in Paris, London, N .Y. Vienna, Milan and Sct. Petersbourg. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Katarina Wester (KW)
Presently teacher for the graduating class at Royal Conservatory of The Haag, Netherlands. Ballet Mistress on both the east and west coasts of USA. While living in the US she studied Dance medicine and is certified by ACE (the American Council on Exercise). Principal dancer at Royal Swedish Ballet where she also is educated.
